Cleaning up the Pot
After we finished our lunch of "macaroni" (the national version of spaghetti) Elli was freed to roam the floor. She went straight for the pot and the straggling potatoes and noodles in the bottom.
Much to Elli's delight, "Shannon" (our house-worker) fed her some of the leftovers. Elli has been officially introduced to the "big 3" of all national dishes; tomato paste, garlic and oil. She took it well and we have no allergic reactions to report as of now. We are not planning on making a habit of allowing Elli to clean up the leftovers, though if we did, it would pack the pounds on her fast!
