Elli is fully expressing her independence, or at least her desire to be independent. One of the major ways is that she wants to do what the big kids do. So she's boycotting sitting in her booster seat. Instead, she wants to sit with the big kids. And they are very patient with her. So she'll try and feed herself and if she can't, Fazula, the 14 year old red head will help her out. Who knows, by the time we move, she may have "dest-er-khan" (floor table) eating figured out.
