Today we had lunch in our sunny veranda. And it was warm enough, we were able to shed our outer layer. Sunny days are such gifts!
Over lunch Ethan asked his most recent pondering:
"Mommy, does Papa Frank (Austin's dad) give milk to people?"
"What do you mean?"
"Does Papa Frank sell milk to people?"
"Sometimes Papa Frank helps the Uncles with their cows. They sell their milk to a big milk company."
"Oh." concerned and not satisfied with my answer.
"Why do you ask?"
"Cause, if Papa Frank doesn't give us milk, when we go to America where will we get our milk from? Our milk lady can't bring our milk to us in America."
"Oh Ethan, in America there is this awesome thing called Wal-Mart. They have all the milk we could ever need or want. And we can go get whatever kind we want whenever we want it."
"Oh, good!" his relieved response.
I'm sure there will be more concerns that come in the future that Wal-Mart can't solve. I'm glad this one was an easy one.
